In 2023, we welcomed Theo into our lives through adoption, and from that moment, everything changed forever. He is the brightest light in our world. Our journey to parenthood was long and filled with ups and downs, but every challenge led us to him.

Theo is incredibly smart and full of laughter. He loves counting and playing with his alphabet magnets, always eager to learn. Fearless and adventurous, he runs, jumps, and keeps us on our toes—especially when he climbs the tallest slides at the playground, much to his mom’s terror. He approaches life with boundless energy and an infectious joy that fills every room he enters.

Beyond his curiosity and fearless spirit, Theo has the biggest heart. He gives the best hugs and snuggles, the kind that make the world slow down and remind us of life’s greatest blessings. His laughter is contagious, his smile lights up our days, and his love radiates in everything he does. Not only has he transformed our lives, but he has also brought immeasurable joy to our entire family. Seeing the way his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins light up around him is a testament to just how special he is. Theo is our greatest adventure, our biggest blessing, and the heart of our family. We are endlessly grateful for the love, laughter, and light he brings into our lives every single day.

Pets bring so much love, joy, and companionship to a family, and we can’t imagine our lives without ours. We have two wonderful dogs—Reggie, our loyal 9-year-old, and Harvey, our playful new puppy—along with our two sweet cats, Murphy and Lucy. Each of them brings something special to our home, filling our days with laughter, comfort, and unconditional love.

We believe animals play a vital role in a child’s life. They teach responsibility, compassion, and empathy in ways nothing else can. Watching Theo interact with our pets has been amazing—he loves playing with them, helping feed them, and giving them endless snuggles. It’s been so special to see the bond he’s forming with them, learning kindness and care along the way.

Pets also provide a sense of security and companionship. Whether it’s Reggie calmly lying next to us after a long day, Harvey’s playful energy keeping us entertained, or our cats curling up for a cozy nap, they bring a sense of comfort to our home. They are truly part of our family, and we feel so lucky that Theo gets to grow up surrounded by their love.

We love staying active, exploring new places, and enjoying simple moments together as a family. One of our favorite activities is biking—we can’t wait to teach Theo how to ride on his own one day! For now, he enjoys tagging along, taking in the sights and feeling the breeze.

Matt is passionate about fitness and enjoys working out, often bringing Theo along to the gym to instill healthy habits from a young age. Erin, on the other hand, loves to curl up with a good book whenever she gets the chance. While we love being active, we also cherish our quiet family moments. Some of our best nights are spent unwinding with a movie and a cozy night in. Watching Theo’s excitement as he discovers new movies and characters has become one of our favorite pastimes.

A big part of our daily life is playing with Theo and our two beloved dogs, Reggie and Harvey. Whether we’re outside playing fetch, going for walks, or just cuddling on the couch, they bring so much love and energy to our home. Theo adores them, and they’ve quickly become his best buddies, always ready for a game or a snuggle.

We are incredibly close to our extended families, and they play a vital role in our lives. Though Erin’s dad, brother, his wife, and their three children live out of town, we stay closely connected through phone calls, video chats, and visits whenever possible. Family gatherings are always a highlight, especially when the cousins get together—it’s a lively, joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and cherished memories.

In 2019, we lost Erin’s mom after a short but devastating battle with cancer. She was the heart and soul of our family, and her passing has only deepened our commitment to cherishing time with loved ones. Her love and warmth continue to inspire us to nurture our family connections and create lasting traditions.

Matt’s sister and parents also live out of town, but they visit frequently, filling our home with love and laughter. Theo, as the only grandchild on Matt’s side, is showered with attention from his grandparents, aunts, and uncles, making his bond with them incredibly special.

Locally, Matt’s aunt lives nearby, and we’re lucky to spend a lot of time with her. Whether it’s a quiet dinner, an outing, or a holiday gathering, her presence in our lives means so much.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. We are excited to share this love and connection with another child, ensuring they grow up surrounded by a strong, supportive, and fun family network.

We are fortunate to live in a quiet and peaceful suburb, which offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Our neighborhood is welcoming, with tree-lined streets, friendly neighbors, and a true sense of community. We’re close to many wonderful amenities, including parks, local shops, and family-friendly restaurants. It’s a place where we can enjoy the best of both worlds—peaceful living with everything we need just a short distance away. One of our favorite activities is biking on the beautiful local trails that wind through the area. Whether it's a leisurely ride or a more energetic outing, the trails offer a chance to explore the natural beauty around us. We also enjoy spending time at the local playgrounds, which are perfect for Theo to run around and have fun.

We are also just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the city, which opens up a world of exciting adventures and experiences. Whether it’s exploring museums, attending live events, or discovering new restaurants, the city offers endless opportunities for fun, exploration, and learning. After a day of adventure, we’re always grateful to return to our peaceful and quiet neighborhood to unwind and enjoy the serenity.
