Jeremy & Kimmy
We are thankful that you are taking the time to get to know us through our profile. We are so excited to share all of our future adventures and love as parents. We understand this is a difficult decision, and we hope to make that decision a little easier on you during this process. We hope that you consider us and we look forward to the journey that lies ahead.
Qualities We Love in Each Other

One of the things we love most about our relationship is how much fun we have together. Jeremy has a silly side that keeps us laughing, whether it’s cracking jokes, making goofy faces, or finding humor in everyday moments. But when life gets serious, he knows how to step in with comfort and reassurance. He’s also great at taking charge when we’re working on projects—bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions that make everything feel exciting and doable. Kimmy admires how Jeremy can turn even ordinary tasks into adventures, while still being the steady hand when it matters most.
Kimmy brings her own magic to our partnership. She is hardworking and organized, always keeping us on track and making sure things run smoothly. Her compassion shines through in the way she cares for others, and her positive attitude lifts us up no matter what challenges we face. Jeremy admires how she can juggle responsibilities with grace while still finding time to laugh and enjoy life.
Together, we balance each other perfectly—Jeremy’s humor and creativity paired with Kimmy’s dedication and warmth. We admire each other not just for what we do, but for how we make life brighter. We can’t wait to show our child how love, laughter, and teamwork make a family strong.
Our Leisure Time

In our leisure time, we enjoy a balance of giving back to our community and exploring the world around us. One of the most meaningful ways we spend time together is volunteering for a local charity that provides water and protein bars to unhoused people in our city. This work has taught us compassion, gratitude, and the importance of service, values we look forward to sharing with our child.
We also love to travel and seek out unique adventures. One of our favorite traditions is visiting the “world’s largest” attractions across the country—whether it’s the largest rocking chair, ball of twine, or roadside landmark, we find joy in discovering these quirky treasures. Alongside these lighthearted trips, we enjoy exploring caves and visiting national parks, where we can connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the outdoors.
Animals are another passion of ours. We often spend weekends at zoos or drive‑through animal preserves, where we can learn about wildlife and enjoy seeing creatures up close. These experiences bring us both fun and education, and we are excited to share them with our child.
We can’t wait to introduce our child to these traditions—teaching them the joy of helping others, the thrill of adventure, and the wonder of nature and animals. Leisure time for us is about connection, discovery, and creating lasting memories together.
Our Pets

Our cats are such an important part of our family. Before we got married, Ginger was Kimmy's cat and Shrek was Jeremy’s. When we brought our lives together, we brought them together too—and they quickly became the heart of our home. Ginger, our 13‑year‑old, is full of energy and playfulness. She loves chasing toys, exploring cozy corners, and keeping us entertained with her curious personality. Shrek, our 7‑year‑old, balances her perfectly—he is calm, gentle, and happiest when curled up beside us, bringing peace to our home. Together, they make our lives richer and more joyful.
We can’t wait for our child to meet them. Ginger will bring laughter and play, while Shrek will offer comfort and calm. Through them, our child will learn kindness, responsibility, and the joy of caring for animals. Ginger and Shrek have already made our family warmer and happier, and we know they will help our child feel the same sense of love and belonging.

Our Extended Families

We can’t wait to share the things we do with our families. Jeremy‘s family includes his mom, aunt, brother’s family; six nephews and nieces, and other relatives. His family loves to get together on holidays and birthdays but any time is a good time to eat out together. We are a big football family and like to gather together to watch games at our favorite hangout spot. We always make sure to remember to bring the jalapeno poppers to share.
Kimmy‘s family is spread out around the country but her mom and dad live only a few miles away. She also has a sister and brother-in-law we visit in Pennsylvania. One of the things we love to do is go antiquing with Kimmy’s mom. We can always find something funny to laugh about.
In the summer, we spend time with Kimmy‘s parents on their boat. On the Fourth of July we watch the fireworks from the middle of the lake. We can’t wait to share that joy and excitement with our child. During the winter, we go with our families to see Christmas lights and performances. We spend time with Kimmy’s family working on home improvement projects at each other's homes. On weekends, we attend church services. We have a diverse group of friends from church we consider our spiritual family. Everyone is very supportive and excited for us to start a family.
Our House and Neighborhood

We live in an established neighborhood in Missouri with many places to go for playing and exploring. A few miles away, is a nature center with walking trails, one that leads to a waterfall. The downtown area hosts weekly farmer's markets, has a miniature golf course, a dog park, baseball fields and a walking trail along the Missouri river which we visit often.
The closest elementary school is within walking distance from our house. We are surrounded by small towns that host lots of festivals and family friendly holiday events. Kimmy‘s parents live in a lake community that hosts many fun events like Easter egg hunts and trunk or treat during Halloween. There are neighborhood parades, monthly fish fry’s, a sandy beach, tennis and basketball courts and lots of playgrounds and walking trails.
Our home is on one level with three bedrooms and a finished basement. We are remodeling our basement to look like a diner straight out of the 1950s including a black and red booth set. Currently, we spend most of our time in the living room cuddling with our cats on the couch or playing board games at the kitchen table. We hope to spend more time in the basement hosting game nights with our friends and family.
We also like to hang out in our backyard on our giant porch overlooking our fire pit area. Our backyard has plenty of room to add play equipment as our child grows.
From Us to You

Before anything else, we want you to know that our hearts are with you as you navigate this incredibly difficult and selfless decision. We can only imagine the mix of emotions you may be feeling, and we deeply admire your courage, love, and strength. Please know that whatever choice you make, we know it comes from a place of profound care for your child - and that is something we will always honor and respect.
We are Kimmy and Jeremy, and we have been together for six years and married for three. From the very beginning of our relationship, we talked about having children. When we learned that we could not have children of our own, we immediately knew adoption was the perfect way to grow our family. We consider adoption a gift - one that will allow us to share our love and create a home filled with joy, laughter, and opportunity. Our relationship is built on trust, respect, and shared dreams. We love spending time together, whether it’s cooking, playing games, or taking road trips to explore new places. We look forward to sharing these experiences with a child- teaching them new things, showing them the world, and giving them the chance to experience the same joys we had growing up. We believe family activities should be collaborative, and we want our child to have a voice in what we do together. Hands-on learning and educational adventures will be a big part of our lives.
Faith is an important part of who we are. We are Christians and attend a church that offers many activities and services for children and families, creating a loving and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and build friendships. We look forward to raising our child with these values - teaching kindness, compassion, and faith - while also respecting and honoring the traditions and beliefs that are important to you.
We live in a welcoming neighborhood with plenty of parks, walking trails, and family-friendly activities. Our home has a cozy backyard where we imagine playing games, gardening, and enjoying summer evenings together. We are excited to create a space where your child feels safe, loved, and free to explore. Our community values connection and offers great schools, libraries, and programs for children, which will give your child every opportunity to learn and grow.
Family is incredibly important to us. Kimmy has a strong bond with her mom, and Jeremy had a special relationship with his dad, who is no longer with us. Jeremy looks forward to continuing traditions he shared with his dad, like hunting and fishing, when our child is older. We also have a large circle of friends and family who are thrilled to welcome a child into our lives. Both of our moms are retired and excited to spend time with our child, and Kimmy’s flexible work schedule allows her to work from home, ensuring plenty of time for family.
We want you to know that we will always honor the love you have for your child. We will send letters, photos, and updates regularly so you can see how your child is growing and thriving. If you are open to more contact - such as emails, phone calls, or even in-person visits - we would be happy to make arrangements that feel comfortable for everyone. We also want to celebrate your traditions and family in ways that you feel are meaningful. You will always be considered part of our extended family, and your child will know their story and the incredible love that led to their adoption. Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your child. If you choose us, please know that your child will be cherished beyond measure, surrounded by love, and given every opportunity to grow, dream, and succeed. We are ready to dedicate our lives to creating a home where they feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Jeremy & Kimmy
