Talita & Valentina
We believe adoption is one of the most beautiful expressions of love and courage, and we are so grateful that you are taking the time to read our story. Our hearts are full of love, joy, and dreams that we're excited to share with a child. Being chosen as parents for your baby would be the greatest honor. We admire your strength and hope you feel our love as you get to know us.
Our Cultural Heritage

We come from two distinct cultural backgrounds, each rich in traditions, values, and celebrations—something we see as a great strength in our family. Talita is from Brazil and Valentina is from Argentina, neighboring countries with unique languages, foods, music, and customs. From Brazilian festas juninas to Argentine barbeque nights, our home is filled with the warmth and vibrancy of our shared Latin American heritage.
We're committed to blending our cultures and sharing them with our future child in joyful, meaningful ways—through dancing to samba and reggaeton, speaking Portuguese and Spanish at home, and cheering for both Brazil and Argentina during soccer matches. We want our child to grow up proud of their multicultural roots.
We also believe that a multicultural home fosters empathy, curiosity, and an appreciation for diversity. Through food, music, and storytelling, our child will learn about their heritage and the many ways love and identity are expressed. Talita's own experience growing up with adopted cousins has shaped her deep appreciation for the beauty of adoption and the many ways families are formed. This perspective will help our child feel fully embraced and supported, with a strong sense of belonging.
Our greatest hope is to raise a child who feels at home in many cultures, understands the value of honoring every background as part of their story, and grows up respecting all people and confidently navigating a diverse world.
Our Lifestyle

Our lifestyle is a balance of hard work, meaningful connections, and quality time at home. Talita works as a realtor, dividing her time between working from home and being out in the community helping families find their perfect homes. Valentina is a dedicated researcher, spending much of her time in the lab pursuing the scientific work she loves. We both work hard, and because of that, we deeply value the moments we spend together.
When we're not working, we love to relax at home, cook meals, and enjoy time with each other and our friends. Hosting is one of our favorite things—our home often fills with laughter, music, and the smell of home-cooked food. Our backyard pool is a favorite gathering spot, where we relax and create joyful memories with our circle of loved ones.
Since much of our family lives outside the U.S., we make it a priority to travel often to visit them. These trips keep us connected to our roots and allow us to embrace different cultures, languages, and traditions—something we are excited to share with our future child.
We believe this way of life will positively shape our child's world, giving them a stable and loving home, a strong sense of community, and a deep appreciation for both hard work and rest, as well as the beauty of cultural diversity.
Qualities We Admire in Each Other

One of the qualities Talita loves most about Valentina is her incredible perseverance. She's watched Valentina chase her academic dreams with unwavering determination, even in the face of big challenges. From working long hours while attending school to earning her Ph.D. and building a meaningful career, Valentina never gave up. She also came to the U.S. at a very young age, leaving her entire family behind, yet she has never let distance weaken those bonds. Valentina's ability to stay focused and push forward, no matter how hard things get, inspires Talita every single day. It's a strength that defines her: someone who faces life with courage and never stops striving for what she believes in.
Valentina, in turn, deeply admires Talita's generous and nurturing spirit. Talita has a heart that's always open—she naturally takes care of those around her, whether it's family, friends, or even strangers. She's the person who organizes donation drives, supports friends through hard times, and helps others find jobs or get back on their feet. Her kindness isn't just an occasional gesture; it's part of who she is. She knows without a doubt that Talita will be an amazing mom, thanks to her natural maternal instinct and her ability to make everyone feel loved and safe.
Together, these qualities are the foundation of our relationship—and the loving, compassionate home we're building for our future child.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in sunny South Florida in a single-family home inside a gated community that feels like a small village. Our neighborhood is peaceful, welcoming, and filled with families and children of all ages. It's close to beautiful parks, great schools, and the beach, making it the perfect place to raise a child.

Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with large windows that fill every room with natural light. We have a spacious backyard with a swimming pool, colorful flowers, and butterflies. It's a place where we imagine endless days of playing outside, splashing in the pool, and picking fresh fruit together. We've even set aside extra space for a future playroom and dream about filling it with toys, books, and laughter. Our community is truly special.
During holidays, families decorate their homes around the neighborhood, and kids can be seen riding bikes, playing ball, or running around with friends. Halloween is a highlight of the year when children from nearby neighborhoods join in for a huge celebration full of costumes and fun. We also have annual block parties with food, music, and even mini petting zoos for the kids. We are surrounded by a circle of close friends who we call family. Their children, from newborns to preteens, can't wait to welcome another little one to their group.
Our neighborhood is a place filled with love, safety, and joy, and we feel so grateful knowing our child will grow up in such a nurturing and vibrant community.
Our Extended Families

We have always been very close to our families. Our loved ones are spread out across the world—Mexico, Argentina, Costa Rica, Brazil, and Spain—which gives us wonderful opportunities to travel in order to spend time together. We both grew up surrounded by strong and loving women in our moms, who are true examples of dedication and hard work. They couldn't be more excited to become grandmothers to our child, as they already adore their other grandchildren. Talita's mom lives just 10 minutes from our home and is ready to be an amazing support in our parenting journey. We can't wait to share our multicultural traditions with our child—especially our love for cooking and gathering around food with loved ones. Our home and our hearts are filled with love, respect, and support, and we know our child will grow up in this beautiful environment, with strong roots and endless possibilities for a bright future. Our two furry companions, Boteco the cat and Lucky the dog, can't wait to meet their new sibling and shower them with love!

From Us to You

We can't begin to imagine the emotions you must be feeling as you consider this incredibly brave and selfless decision. We are deeply moved by your strength, courage, and the profound love you're showing for your child. Thank you for opening your heart to learn more about us it truly means the world that you are considering us to be part of your journey.
We are Talita and Valentina, and we live in South Florida with our energetic dog, Lucky, and our sweet cat, Boteco. We've been together for 10 years and married for almost 8. From the beginning, our relationship has been built on love, laughter, and mutual respect. We believe that adopting a child is part of a greater purpose—a true gift—and we feel incredibly blessed and ready for this moment.
Family has always been at the heart of our lives. Talita grew up with four sisters and a brother and is now an aunt to several nieces and nephews who are so excited to welcome a new cousin. Valentina has two sisters with three children, and we remain closely connected to all our nieces and nephews. Valentina was even present at their births, deepening her connection to family and caregiving. Our sisters, parents, and extended families are thrilled to support us in this next chapter of our lives.
We've always had a natural bond with children. Talita's experience as an au pair, helping raise three children (two of whom were adopted), gave her a deep appreciation for how unique and beautiful every child's journey is. We love hosting our friends and their kids—our backyard is often full of laughter, music, and splashing in the pool. Friends often tell us we bring out the best in kids, creating an environment that is warm, playful, and full of love.
Our cultural backgrounds are a big part of who we are—Talita is Brazilian, and Valentina is Argentinian. Our home is filled with music, language, and flavors from both cultures. We imagine our child dancing to samba and reggaeton, enjoying pão de queijo and dulce de leche, and cheering for both Brazil and Argentina during soccer games. Talita also has adopted cousins, and her close relationship with them has shaped her deep understanding of the beauty of adoption and the many ways love creates a family. We've also embraced American traditions. One of our favorites is hosting Thanksgiving—a time filled with gratitude, food, and togetherness. We can't wait for our child to be part of that circle, adding their joy and voice to the celebration.
We both work hard and value stability. Valentina is a professor and biomedical researcher, and Talita is a successful real estate agent. Talita balances working from home with showing properties, while Valentina spends long hours in the lab. Because our days can be busy, we treasure our time at home—cooking meals, relaxing, and sharing our home with loved ones.
Much of our extended family lives outside the U.S., so we travel often to visit them—something we look forward to doing as a family. We believe this global connection will help our child grow up with a strong sense of identity, belonging, and cultural pride.
If you choose us, we promise to give your child a life full of love, joy, opportunity, and care. They will grow up knowing their story and how your strength and love shaped their life. We are committed to staying connected through letters, photos, and updates, and are open to calls or visits if that feels right for you.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for considering us. If chosen, it will be the greatest honor of our lives.
With love and gratitude,
Talita & Valentina
